Hydraulic Pump Specification :

In order to obtain the correct specifications of a hydraulic pump it is necessary to gather as much information as possible. This information will allow us to select the Hidrodinâmica product which best suits your needs, or the product which is most similar to the pump which is to be replaced. We therefore require you to complete the form with as much detail as possible.

 Name:
 Company:
 E-mail:
 Phone:

1- General Information

1.1- Type of equipment
(machinery where the pump is to be installed)

1.2- Model Nr. or Serial Nr.
(of the machinery)

1.3- Pump number
(part number mentioned in the list of equipment parts)

1.4- Pump code number
(on the pump label)

2- Operational Information
In order to ensure that the pump you are replacing with an Hidrodinâmica part is the same power and capacity as your equipment, the following information is required:

2.1 Flow Rate:
Part 1 - gpm (gallons per minute) or lpm (litres per minute)
If your pump has multiple sections, the items below should also be completed:
Section 2 - gpm or lpm
Section 3 - gpm or lpm
Section 4 - gpm or lpm
If the flow rate is too high, this could cause friction while the fluid is passing through the pipelines, valves, filters and actuators, thus generating heat and, consequently, undesirable temperatures. Besides that, it may also produce dangerously fast movements. If the flow rate is too low, the equipment may slow down.

2.2- Rotation:
Please provide the following information:
Operating rotation, rotation of the pump during most of the working time,
or desirable rotation to obtain the flow rate reading (Item 2.1 above) rpm

Information on minimum rotation r.p.m. and maximum rotation r.p.m. in which the pump can be operated.

2.3- Maximum System Pressure
Section 1 - psi (pounds per square inch) or kg/cm 2 (kilograms per square centimeter). Concerning the regulated pressure of the relief valve of the hydraulic system.

If your pump has multiple sections, the items below should also be completed:
Section 2 - psi or kg/cm2
Section 3 - psi or kg/cm2
Section 4 - psi or kg/cm2

2.4- Working Pressure:
Section 1 - psi or kg/cm2. Working Pressure of the hydraulic circuit.

If your pump has multiple sections, the items below should also be completed:
Section 2 - psi or kg/cm2
Section 3 - psi or kg/cm2
Section 4 - psi or kg/cm2

2.5- Displacement:
Measured in in 3 /rev (cubic inches per revolution) or in cm 3 /rev (cubic centimeters per revolution), it is an alternative information to the flow rate and rotation data.
Should you be unable to provide information on flow rate, rotation or displacement (items 2.1, 2.2, and 2.5 above), it is still possible to determine the required pump. Please complete the section that follows in order to help us calculate the pump capacity. If your pump is a multiple section pump, please provide additional information on the motor gear measurements of each section.

3- Mounting

3.1- Mounting flanges
There are some basic types of flanges used to fix the hydraulic pump to its support base. Among the types listed below, please select the one used in your pump and provide the additional information requested:

Type
BC (distance between the centres of the holes) mm
LC (distance between the centres of the holes) mm (only for Rectangulars and Through-Bolt)
Pilot diameter mm
"K" (hole diameter) mm
Rotation direction

3.2- Drive shafts
The most common shaft extensions are: spline, straight keyed and tapered keyed. Please indicate the driving shaft in your pump and provide the information requested as follows:
In the Observations box, please indicate any additional information available:

If your shaft extension is straight keyed:
Eixo Chavetado

If your shaft extension is a spline type:
Spline Shaft X mm     OD mm

If your shaft extension is tapered keyed:

R (thread)

C (taper)

IC (diameter of the cone ) mm

ER (shaft extension length) mm

CC (cone length) mm

Please fill in the Comment Box of the table above with the following information:

  • If the axle of your pump has any particular variations such as holes, channels connecting to the locking ring or any other details. Please give a description;
  • If your pump is driven by a universal joint or a driving belt or chain;
  • Or any other details you may consider relevant.

3.3- Port options
The diagram below shows 3 different views of a pump. Taking as reference the pump with its front end cover and driving shaft facing the observer we show, in sequence, the right side, the end cover and the left side of the pump. The pump may be a simple or multiple section pump. The ports positions should be described using, if possible, the following coding system:
Numbers 1, 2, 3, ... Indicate the associated gear housing position;
Numbers 1.1, 2.1, 3.1, ... Indicate the associated intermediate housing position;
Letter "T" Indicate connections on the sides of the end cover;
"Back" Indicates connections on the rear face of the end cover;

Observations:
In a plain pump, there should be only 2 connections, one on each side or both on the back of the pump.
In a multiple section pump it is common to find a common inlet connection. If your pump fits with this description, please indicate the specific side and correct position of this connection.
If there is any additional information not mentioned in the observations above, please describe it in the Observations box below.

Please indicate the correct type and size of the connections using the table below:
